I'm going to go ahead and get out what has frustrated and pissed me off so much yesterday. What really got me in a mood.

I'm still disappointed at the friend who's been a selfish and stupid bratty fair-weather person towards my mom and me. According to her "logic" it's WRONG to be concerned about not having our things stolen by her incompetent and dishonest man child of a son, and for our good rep from the current landlord to be reduced to shit!

Also, my cautious hope of ever visiting Pumpkin, Sam, or Xena--it feels like that got fucking squashed. All my hopes of seeing them and playing their songs, they keep getting diminished, no matter how cautious I get! I've been hating that so much, and it's out of THIS frustration that leads to this next song...

I got a clear enough idea on how track 10 of the Shark Out of Water story arc album will turn out. I'm gonna go for it!

(Mood: Fox wakes up from napping on Naoki and starts to freak out. After having taken a long nap, she's starting to worry if there's enough time to come up with a convincing, believable alibi to tell her mother. Fritz has to speak and help calm her down, assuring her that there is a plan. Naoki's not wanting for Fox to go into a panic, calming her down so he can understand what she's worried about, and why. There's tension and stress going on between the characters. Genre: Emo Psychedelic Rock and Cinematic hybrid! This music needs to be fitting to go along with the characters' spoken dialogue. A friend of my mom and I--we finally got to meet up with her again after over a year ago. Her name is Esha, and she has been the original caretaker of the three sweetheart cats I still miss so much. I met Sam, Pumpkin, and Xena through her. (She unfortunately had to go to prison for having gone out of her way to get one of her children over to here in the U.S., safely but in a way that displeased some of the local political tyrants.)

Yesterday, she was really impressed by a handful of the songs I've done, and said she'd love a song done about her. She loves my Kirby a lot, and she requested a song by him. Also, Fritz wants to do a song about her too! I believe he's got quite a bit to say... especially over that devil woman of a daughter. Esha agrees and has been angry over the damage she's done. And she was sorry for all the drama, toxicity, and stress her daughter put my mom and me through.

Definitely want to set this up like he's meeting Esha for the first time!

Inspiration is a really interesting thing... I've been undecided in reinstalling and replaying Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core on my laptop again... I was thinking about Genesis. Part of me was contemplating on how he'd fit within my lore in this onward and gradually expanding multiverse!

Endgame (Fox and Vampy Collab)

There's this Discord Server known as True Rock Alliance Studio. I'm getting the inspiration to do something that's a hybrid of horrorcore pop and rock. I really would want to introduce my interpretation of one of my other older, most amazingly versatile character personas for a Monday Madness listening party... I'm being self-conscious on sharing Vampy's older solo songs. There's some rock guitar riffs in "Embracing the Chase" and "H is for Horrorcore" (although there's a bit more guitar in the latter one), but I think it would be better to have him more rooted in rock for at least one song!

And I don't think Vampy's intention is to attack in this song anyway. (The dubstep elements of his previous songs are like the sudden appearing and quickly striking before becoming hard to see.) This song will be more like... an unsettling encounter and conversation that would put my Fox character at unease.

(Mood: Unsettling. Scary. The Xel'lotath Vampire that Fox calls "Vampy" manages to get her alone and wants to speak with her... primarily of his own choice. Fox is guarded and would be uneasy and tense around him. Genre: Slow Rock and Horrorcore Pop. The Vampire must have a balance between his alluring yet unsettling soulful pop voice and his gritty rock voice. His speaking voice must stay raspy.)

I'm not sure but this might end up being a bittersweet song... With two of my closest friend muses, I'm sure this will help be more of a comfort song. I knew I have recently "heard" Fritz gently encouraging me to go ahead and make more songs about Sam, Xena, and Pumpkin.

What I Almost Became

Time to get back to the Shark Out of Water album! This is to be the 8th song for it... I've already planned out ahead of time that this is to be a song that's totally all monologue, from Naoki's perspective. Not just his observations of what my Fox (my self-insert character throughout the album's story) does to help bring them closer to where Fritz had parked his car, and not just how Fritz is genuinely someone that is a close friend of hers... And there will be some backstory mention that specifically takes place between the first two tracks!

(Mood: Quiet, reflective, remorseful but determined, protective resolve, introspective inner monologue. Bittersweet and thoughtful. Naoki's observing a portal to a normal world while realizing he may no longer belong there. Reflecting on guilt over losing control earlier, a returning fear of becoming something monstrous, and a renewed quiet promise to protect a friend who trusts him despite that moment. Genre Style: Acoustic Emo Rock, and Soft Indie Rock blend. Minimal instrumentation, fingerpicked acoustic guitar, gentle ambient pads, subtle piano, very soft percussion entering later. Slow tempo.
