I'm just listening to a guzheng piece now on Youtube. It's beautiful.
I don't know if it's just me but none of the photos have shown up.
Does your love of Italian food come from your love of Samurai Pizza Cats or is it the other way round? :p Sometimes it's best to leave the things we loved as children a memory. Sometimes they're just as wonderful as you remember, other times much less so! I recently read a couple of Piers Anthony's Xanth books, which I adored as a child. I was so shocked and disappointed at how misogynistic they are. Not subtext-misogynistic but right there, in your face, in so many words. I'm happy my younger self didn't notice and just loved the magic and fun stories but it makes me so sad that I can never enjoy them again.
Other things are just as (or more) wonderful experiencing them as an adult, so it equals out, I guess.
Your birthday is near mine (mine's the 22 January) though I'm a few years older.
I always love reading these kind of things, but I'm rubbish at doing them!
