Did you get to see a bunch of fireworks? Did you spend good quality time with your loved ones? Did you have a BBQ dinner cookout? See any good movies?

I had to work during the day, though I did do pretty well on book sales. Could have earned more if there were people interested in my plants and garden statues, but oh well...

I'm still pleased with how good the photos of them came out, especially when making them look even gorgeous and in high quality after some slight touches on the photobucket editor. I'll share some and leave a link to my Gallery page in a bit.

Back to the rest of how my 4th of July went. For dinner, my family and I had cheeseburgers with lettuce and tomato with hash browns. For desert, we had strawberry crème pie! Mmmmm, so good...

Later on into the evening, Mom and I went over to our friend Bob's house to play a few board games. On the way there, we saw a firework after crossing the bridge! Cool. Board gaming was fun. I ALMOST won at Alhambra that night! Everything in my city was connected by a badass 17 point bordering, and I had the most green tiles (and the most blue at the end, it's 18 points). Bob had the most purple and a 15 pointer border, and he beat me by one point. Wow, what a game! It was my longest ever wall, and Mom's wall was just as long.

We also played 2 games of Ugh, and a game of Splendor. Geez, our friend Rich is really good at Splendor! Mom and I will have to start taking more chances around him from now on. Oh, and in the background, Bob's neighbors were lighting fireworks. We could hear all the whistling and popping noises. :)

Here's some pics I took of my plants. This first one is of one of my most favorite hostas.

The Dwarf Butterfly Bush...

Two other hosta varieties. Love this pic I took.

If you'd like to see more, check out my Gallery Page. :)

Sometime later on I'll upload a new plant vlog on my main variety channel.

Recently, on YouTube, I've been watching a lot of stuff by Philip Wang, Wesley Chan, and Ted Fu of Wong Fu productions. In case you've never heard of them, they (along with 4 other people) mostly upload short films; comedies, drama, and drama/romantic. I've seen a handful of their comedies so far and they are great--their web series Fun Employed starring Philip and Kevjumba, with a few appearances of Ryan Higa David Choi, and Chester See, Flashback Attack, Yellow Fever, Agents of Secret Stuff (starring Ryan Higa and co-starring Arden Cho), and The End of Wong Fu: A Christmas Story.

I love their Wong Fu Weekends episodes too! A large number of these are great. They do various things together and film it. My most favorite ones seem to be of their board game sessions, when they make things, and some of their older ones in which Kevjumba, David Choi, and Ryan Higa make appearances.

Oh, and they also have done some music videos... Philip, on his vlog channel, has lyric video of a song he wrote and sang. I think I'll have a copy of this song on my "iPod" phone.

It's such a sweet song, and he has a nice voice. I hope he gets inspired and encouraged to do more songs later on. :)

In watching them as people in their videos, I've seen qualities among the trio that I know I have.

For Phil, he enjoys singing and music. I do too, and I also have a goofy, child-like side like he does. We're both gamers too.

Wes is definitely introverted. When it comes to his interesting and adorable creations, he has to stop, think, and search inward for an idea first. He's also very picky and perfectionist in what he does. I'm the same way! And, we both like reptiles and most animals.

Ted Fu loves cats, and he has a sweet tooth. I love cats, and have a sweet tooth. We're both into video games. He's also an introvert.

Together, they all enjoy movies, board games, and anime! That's awesome.

Phil's the extrovert of the three, I believe, but he respects and cares about the other two like family. They're not related to each other, but they're all like brothers. And, they show lots of love towards their viewers. I've witnessed that in a few of their Wong Fu Weekend episodes. Once they attempted to bake a cake for fans to feast on with their eyes. They didn't follow the baking directions very well, rofl, but it was really nice and sweet of them to do that! They tried. They really did...

All those candles they put on it. XD Notice how at the top in the back, it looks a bit crumbled.

Phil, Wes, and Ted--along with the rest of their talented crew (Kenson's music compositions and visual effect skills, OMG!) are who I'd get along really well with. :) I can't say who I like the most--Phil, Wes, or Ted. I like them all equally, since I see myself in them. I feel inspired to let them know through Twitter, fairly soon.

Josh and Jacob Fu of Fu Music at YouTube seem to enjoy my tweets to them. Josh has faved 2. Jacob has faved 6. Jacob even replied to me once, awww. XD Maybe one day, they'll follow me back. :P I hope so, because they're two more I'd consider as friends if I ever met them IRL. Also, maybe one day they'll do more music together!

David Choi has a really good singing voice... I don't know if they collaborated with him or not. I think I'll eventually look and see. If they haven't, then they should do a song or more together, as soon as Ryan's done with him lol.

One more thing! Bah bah-da bah bah bum bah baaaaah! XD I finally finished my second-ever video game music remix. This was even harder for me to accomplish than Mortal Kombat Komputer. Altogether, the project took a month and a half long to complete. EVERYTHING, even down to final revisions, took a while. I'm so proud of this, because I've gotten so much better at constructing my own beats! There's three I did totally from scratch, using one-shot percussion sounds; two a little after the beginning part, and one towards the end. There's one I inserted that I made on this online drum machine. One I borrowed and credited, but the rest are all my stuff.

Also, all the synth sounds! They all came from the Waspy LE virtual synthesizer I've got on the laptop. So cool... I did 2 and a half variations on the original version's melody. Towards the end, I did my own original spin off of that melody. :D

I'm mostly taking a short break from music (mostly, because so soon I started making a tune for background music to go with my next plant vlog). Once it's over, I'm going to start another awesome Darius Twin remix.
