no_apologiesI got a clear enough idea on how track 10 of the Shark Out of Water story arc album will turn out. I'm gonna go for it!
(Mood: Fox wakes up from napping on Naoki and starts to freak out. After having taken a long nap, she's starting to worry if there's enough time to come up with a convincing, believable alibi to tell her mother. Fritz has to speak and help calm her down, assuring her that there is a plan. Naoki's not wanting for Fox to go into a panic, calming her down so he can understand what she's worried about, and why. There's tension and stress going on between the characters. Genre: Emo Psychedelic Rock and Cinematic hybrid! This music needs to be fitting to go along with the characters' spoken dialogue. Noaki is seventeen years old, teen vocal for him. Norman is eleven years old, child's voice.)
[speaking, starting to wake up and feel alarmed][FOX:]
"...How long was I asleep guys? ...Oh God, we're almost there! What the hell are we going to tell my mom? Fritz, you know we can't tell her about..."
[speaking, concerned and slightly confused][NAOKI:]
"Can't tell her what, Fox? What's wrong? ...Take a couple deep breaths first."
[speaking, tense and worrying][FOX:]
"Naoki, she'll panic and freak out if we start explaining about Xel'lotath! Fritz and I have been keeping all that a *secret* from her, so she'll stay safe."
[speaking, serious tone of voice][FRITZ:]
"We'll have to make time and explain this further to him later tonight... Right now, let's not start panicking. Fox, don't worry, alright? While you were with Naoki and showing him around your headspace realm, Norman had called... We came up with a believable cover story."
[speaking, unsure and concerned][NOAKI:]
"Wait a second. Help me understand... What would happen if her mom knows about this? What's the worst that could happen...?"
[speaking, stressing out][FOX:]
"She would no longer be protected... Xel'lotath might leave one of her monster creations around in the house, or wherever Mom would be. No, no way! We can't have that happen..."
[speaking, serious and determined][NAOKI:]
"We're *not* going to let that happen. Don't worry... I won't let any monsters hurt her. They won't even get to touch her, I promise."
[speaking, calming voice][FRITZ:]
"It won't even come to that. Before we get out the car, Fox, you should hear from Norman or me about what the cover story is going to be."
[speaking, worried][FOX:]
"Where's Norman? Please tell me he's okay... He's not in danger, is he?"
[speaking, assuring][FRITZ:]
"He's safe. He's in the house, with your mom... He told me he was helping her to cook dinner and keep her company."
[speaking, a little confused][NAOKI:]
"Is this Norman a friend to you guys? From what I'm hearing, he sounds like someone you both trust a lot."
[FX: car door opening]
[speaking, calming herself down][female voice][FOX:]
"He's a sweet and thoughtful kid... He's a good friend. Naoki, he's like a little brother to me..."
[speaking, feeling a little sentimental]
"Hold on, I see him coming out... Oh, sweetie..."
[speaking, softly][NAOKI:]
"That's Norman...? His hair--is that actually white? Is that his natural hair color?"
[speaking, smiling, expression softening][NORMAN:]
"You're all here, safe and sound... Fritz, is this Naoki? We may need to help him appear to be more presentable... Fritz, do you have a spare shirt for him to wear?"
[speaking, softly][FRITZ:]
"I think I have something in the trunk. Hold on, I'll go check..."
[speaking, sentimental while going over to give Norman a hug][FOX:]
"Norman... I've missed you, my mom, and everyone else so much..."
[speaking, softly while hugging Fox back][NORMAN:]
"I've searched all over. I was so worried... I'm glad you're alright, sister."
[speaking, exclaiming, letting go of Norman as she notices someone else coming out of the house.][FOX:]
"Mom... I'm so glad to be home..."
[speaking, softly and moving to stand beside Naoki while Fox and her mom are hugging each other][NORMAN:]
"Fritz told me you're someone who's really tough against monsters..."
[speaking, calmly, looking Norman over][NAOKI:]
"It's true... In the world I'm from, there are many demons."
[speaking, calmly][FRITZ:]
"Okay, I'm back... Naoki, quick, put this shirt on."
[speaking, calmly][NORMAN:]
"Yeah, before she notices the too many tattoos... Her mother might otherwise suspect you as a dangerous member of some gang... Are those actually glowing?"
[speaking, calmly after putting on a t-shirt][NAOKI:]
"I'm not normal. Not anymore... It would take a while to explain them, and the spike on my neck..."

"Naoki, listen... We need to go over the cover story while she's over there with Fox... Someone crazy and out of their mind taking her away somewhere would be not as overwhelming as Fox finding herself... in a world of demons..."

A little weird how my Fox character sounds a little childish, but I suppose in a way towards this part in the story arc, she'd be as scared as a scared little girl... The music box parts are really interesting to me, along with the sung melodies from Fox.
